MRI-Safe Fiber Optic Response Keys

Research gap requiring fabrication:   Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) can create detailed maps of regions of the human brain that are activated during specific cognitive tests.   A neuroscience laboratory at Indiana University was interested in studying brain activity during decision-making.  The team needed a way for the subjects to make their selections using a computer program while inside an active fMRI machine.
